Finance major … son of Mark and Melissa Putney, Fredonia, NY… returning for his second season with the Golden Flyers, Putney appeared in all 27 games as a junior, making five starts... finished with 223 points for an average of 8.3 per game... led the team in free throw percentage at 93.3 on 14-for-15 from the line... second on the team with 57 3-pointers made on 38.5 percent from the floor... scored a career-high 17 points, including making five 3-pointers, against Alfred on 1/6/24... scored in double figures in 14 games, including each of the last four. 

2022-23: played at Division II Daemen College where he was a redshirt as a freshman and played in 15 games in 2021-22 … averaged 0.8 points per game and scored a season-high 8 points against Staten Island (2/3) … also grabbed 10 rebounds … played four seasons of varsity basketball at Fredonia High School and also play football … was named the Fredonia Player of the Year as a senior and Third Team All-New York State Class B … named First Team All-Class B CCAA West 1 League twice … led his team to the Section VI Championship as a senior … member of the National Honor Society.
