Nazareth College Athletics

Son of Juan and April Savage, Elmsford, NY… returning for his third season Savage started all 27 games as a sophomore, earning Second Team All-Conference honors... finishes second on the team and 13th in the conference with 13.5 points per game... tied for second on the team with 29 steals... scored a career-high 26 points against Utica on 1/30/24... recorded a double-double against Oswego on 11/21/23, Alfred on 2/2/24, and Keuka on 2/6/24... scored in double figures in 21 of 27 games... averaged 4.1 rebounds per game... went 144-for-308 from the floor (.468)... was 60-for-76 (.789) from the free throw line... named to the Academic All-District Team by College Sports Communicators (CSC), a recognition for the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom... selected to US Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) Rochester Chapter Men's Basketball All-Star team... also a member of the Nazareth Outdoor Track and Field Team... at the Empire 8 Outdoor Track and Field Championships, helped the 4 x 400 relay take first place and finished seventh in the 100 (11.38). 
 

2022-23: Named Empire 8 Rookie of the Year and was a Second-Team All-Empire 8 selection … six-time Empire 8 Rookie of the Week and also earned the Empire 8 Player of the Week once as well as the Nazareth Athlete of the Week twice … named to the US Basketball Writers Association First Team All-Area and Freshman of the Year … averaged 13.0 points per game with 351 points as he started all 27 games … also had 3.4 rebounds per game, was third on the team with 50 assists and second on the team with 31 steals … scored a season-best 24 points against Oswego (11/22) … also scored 23 against Medaille (2/4) and had 21 points against Elmira (12/2), Keuka (1/3), St. John Fisher (1/24) and Keuka (2/7).

Scholastic: graduate of Alexander Hamilton High School where he played basketball, football, baseball and competed on the track and field team … also played for Next Level Athletics and Chris Ward Basketball club teams … helped his team to a pair of Section I championships and was named the Sectional MVP as well as the league MVP as a senior … earned National Honor Society recognition... also a member of the Nazareth men's basketball team.
