Scholastic: a graduate of Odessa-Montour Central School, Melanson was a member of the soccer, basketball and track teams... scored more than 1,000 points as a shooting guard in basketball and helped team to divisional title in 2009... named team MVP and was a two-time recipient of school's Athlete of the Year honor.
