Tim Dunne

Tim Dunne joined the women's basketball coaching staff at Nazareth in 2015-16 as an assistant to his sister, head coach Kelly Dunne.

Since his first season of 2015-16, he has helped Nazareth to 103 wins, a .620 winning percentage and an Empire 8 Conference championship in 2021.
 
Dunne had committed to play basketball at Nazareth for coach Mike Daley but sustained a spinal cord injury in a diving accident one week prior to his high school graduation in 1997.
 
Dunne played scholastically for Northport High School and each year helped lead the team deep into the large-school Long Island playoffs. From 2005 to 2014, he was an assistant varsity coach for very successful Northport High School teams, including a Long Island Championship and a NY State semifinalist.

His brother Greg was inducted into Nazareth’s Hall of Fame for basketball and is currently the head basketball coach at SUNY Brockport.
 
Dunne graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hofstra University in 2003 earning degrees in Journalism and Psychology.
 
In addition to his coaching duties, Dunne is a Corporate Communications Associate for Henry Schein, Inc.
