Stephanie Spoto, a 2016 graduate of the University of New Hampshire, joined the Nazareth coaching staff in 2017 as a part-time assistant for women's basketball.
A native of Pittsford, Spoto played scholastically at Pittsford Sutherland and earned an array of accolades, including first-team all-Greater Rochester honors in 2011. She went on to play four seasons at New Hampshire, appearing in all 30 of the team's games in 2015-16 and averaging 4.6 points per game.
Spoto graduated with a degree in Kinesiology: Exercise Science and Psychology as well as a minor in Nutrition. She received her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification and is the co-owner/head trainer at Anchor Fitness & Wellness in Fairport, N.Y.
At New Hampshire, Spoto was named to the America East Academic Honor Roll and was inducted into the National College Athletic Honor Society, Chi Sigma Alpha.Â
