Kaitlin Hammersley, a 2014 Brockport graduate, joined the Nazareth athletics staff in 2016 as a part-time assistant coach for women's basketball.
A native of Weedsport, N.Y., Hammersley was a standout scholastic player at Weedsport High, where she amassed more than 1,500 points and more than 1,000 rebounds in her career.
She played three seasons at Houghton College and earned second team all-star honors in the National Christian College Athletic Association for the 2012-13 season. She also played one season at Brockport.
Hammersley earned a degree in Communication from Brockport and has a passion for coaching. She was head coach of the ninth-grade modified team at Spencerport in 2015-16. She also has experience as an AAU coach and as a camp counselor at the Houghton Basketball Camp.
