A 2006 graduate of Mount Olive College in North Carolina, Chuck Jefferson joins Devin Gotham for his first season on the women's basketball coaching staff at Nazareth.
Jefferson was an assistant men's coach for Gotham last season at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams, Mass., where he assisted with the program's daily operation. He also has coaching experience at numerous camps and clinics, including serving last summer as Basketball Department Head at Camp Laurel in Readfield, Maine.
Jefferson played basketball for four seasons at Mount Olive and was a member of the 2004-05 team that reached the Elite 8 of the NCAA Division II Tournament. He also helped the team to NCAA Tournament appearances in 2003-04 and 2005-06. The team finished 29-5 in '05-06 and set a school record for victories.
Jefferson has an undergraduate degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from Mount Olive with a minor in Computer Information Systems.
