Scholastic: a graduate of Marion High School, Raes was a three-sport standout there. . . played three seasons of varsity basketball and earned first-team Wayne County League all-star honors as well as honorable mention all-Greater Rochester . . .  competed in Ronald McDonald senior all-star game. . . helped team to league titles in '07 and '08 and a Section Five Class CCC title in '07. . . also served as captain of the soccer and softball teams. . . earned league all-star and honorable mention all-Greater Rochester honors in each. . . member of National Honor Society. . . graduated in top 10 percent of Class of '08. . . recipient of Presidential Award for Academic Excellence.
