Physical Therapy major… born 9/12/96… daughter of Jeffrey and Sara Shields, Lyons, N.Y… playing her first season for the basketball team, Shields was a member of the 2014 volleyball squad at Nazareth ... appeared in 22 matches, registering 14 digs and 12 blocks.

Scholastics: a graduate of Lyons High School, Shields was a standout in volleyball and basketball there… two-time Wayne County League Player of the Year in basketball who amassed more than 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds… fourth-team all-state selection in 2014 and Section Five Class C2 MVP after leading the Lions to the title… named Lyons Female Athlete of the Year for 2013-14… earned team MVP honors in volleyball and was a two-time Wayne County League all-star… twice selected to the Section Five all-tournament team… helped team to three league titles and the Section Five Class C championship in 2013… member of National Technical Honor Society and Lyons Honor Society… recipient of Susan B. Anthony Leadership Award.
