International Business major. . . son of Terri Nichols, Syracuse, N.Y. . . returning for his fourth season, Nichols posted an overall record of 12-10 in singles, including 5-0 in the Empire 8… had a 20-22 overall record in doubles…earned first-team all-conference honors… 2005-06: Nichols played well for the Golden Flyers, finishing with an overall record of 34-14. . . earned first-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors for doubles and second-team honors for singles. . . 2004-05: played well in 2004-05, winning 22 matches overall, including a 13-12 record at fourth singles. . . Scholastic: a graduate of Henninger High School in Syracuse, Nichols was captain of the tennis team for four seasons and was voted team MVP all four years. . . earned first-team Onondaga League all-star honors for singles in 2003 and 2004. . . played for a club tennis team that won regional championships in 2002 and 2003. . . won Western Region singles title in the boys’ 18-and-under division in 2003.
