Nazareth College Athletics

Biology major... son of Marshall and Liz McMurray, Endicott, N.Y... returning for his third season, McMurray played regularly for the Golden Flyers in 2021-22 had an 11-4 singles record, including a perfect 8-0 mark in Empire 8 Conference matches... earned second-team E8 all-star honors for singles as well as E8 Sportsman of the Year... also went 9-6 in doubles matches... won key matches at both singles and doubles as Nazareth upset top-seeded Houghton, 5-3, to capture its firfst-ever E8 title... recipient of the E8 Torchbearer Award for having the highest GPA among E8 championship tournament competitors... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Presidents' List (3.75 GPA) and above) for both the fall and spring semesters.

2020-21: McMurray cracked the Golden Flyers' lineup at second singles and finished with an overall record of 5-5, including 5-3 in Empire 8 Conference matches... earned first-team E8 all-star honors for singles and represented the Golden Flyers on the E8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above.

Scholastic: a graduate of Union-Endicott High School, McMurray played three varsity tennis seasons at first singles... earned all-star honors in the Southern Tier Athletic Conference.
