Nazareth College Athletics

Sports and Entertainment minor … son of David and Amy Sayles, Milton, Ga... returns for his fourth season after appearing in 14 games as a Junior... allowed a total of 30 goals and tallied 320 saves in 696:52 minutes played... finished the season with a 2.58 goals against average and a .914 save percentage... had a season high of 40 saves in the season-opener against SUNY Geneseo... was named to the UCHC All-Academic Team... Sayles also earned President's List honors for the spring 2024 semester.

2022-23: competed in 10 games and started nine as a sophomore … allowed 17 goals and made 209 saves in 565 minutes of playing time … finished the season with a 1.81 goals against average and a .925 save percentage with both marks setting school records for a season … recorded a season-best 39 saves in his first appearance against Geneseo (10/29) and earned the UCHC Goalie of the Week that week … recorded a shutout win against Neumann (2/10) and did not allow a goal and made 18 saves after coming into the UCHC Championship game against Utica in the third period (18:30) … named to the UCHC All-Academic team.

2021-22:  Sayles started 22 games for the Golden Flyers, finishing with a 9-12-1 record... played 1312:18 minutes, allowing 71 goals (3.25 goal against average)... compiled 584 saves on a .892 saves percentage... registered a career-high 41 saves against Chatham on 2/23/22 in the UCHC quarterfinals.

Scholastic: a 2019 graduate of The New Hampton School in New Hampshire, Sayles played hockey, lacrosse and baseball there... played in 2020-21 for the Protec Junior Ducks and the New Jersey 87s in the Eastern Hockey League... produced a record of 14-1-1 with 419 saves for a 2.24 goals-against average and a .923 save percentage... played one game for the Northern Cyclones of the National Collegiate Development Conference in 2019-20.
