Accounting and Finance major... born 4/20/93... son of Robert and Kristine Walter, Casco, Mich... returning for his fourth season, Walter was a defensive fixture for the Golden Flyers in 2016-17 as he appeared in all 26 games and contributed one goal and four assists with a team-high 64 penalty minutes... scored in a 4-3 home-ice loss to Stevenson on 11/12/16... named to the ECAC West All-Academic team.

2015-16: Walter played in 24 games for the Golden Flyers in 2015-16 and contributed two goals and three assists... also had 12 minor penalties for 24 minutes... scored first career goal in a 5-1 win at Manhattanville on 11/20/15... also scored in a 4-2 win over Franklin Pierce on 1/15/16... represented Nazareth on the ECAC West All-Academic team (3.0 GPA or higher).

2014-15: Walter played in 26 games in 2014-15 as a defenseman and contributed three assists, including one in Nazareth's first-ever playoff win, a 5-1 home-ice triumph over Manhattanville on 2/25/15... also tied for the team lead with 14 penalties for 36 minutes.

Before Nazareth: a 2011 graduate of Lutheran North High School in Michigan, Walter played two seasons for the Brockville Braves of the Central Canada Hockey League... played in 59 games in 2013-14 and scored six goals and added 11 assists with 135 penalty minutes... had one goal and two assists in 51 games with 106 penalty minutes in 2012-13... also has experience with the Motor City Metal Jackets of the North American Hockey League.
