Nazareth College Athletics

Communication and Media major… born 7/2/93… son of Michael and Lynne Jones, Skaneateles, N.Y… returning for his fourth season, Jones played in eight games for the Golden Flyers in 2014-15 and scored two goals -- in a 2-2 tie at Utica on 11/7/14 and in a 5-2 loss at Babson on 11/29/14... named to the ECAC West All-Academic team.

2013-14: Jones played in 23 games for the Golden Flyers and contributed two goals and three assists... had one goal and one assist in a 6-4 win over Brockport on 11/5/13... added a pair of assists in a 4-3 win at Hobart on 1/31/14... named to ECAC West All-Academic team.

2012-13: played in all 26 games and finished tied for second on the team in scoring with 20 points on 10 goals, 10 assists… first collegiate goal came in a 4-3 home-ice loss to Salve Regina on 10/27/12… had two goals and one assist in Nazareth’s lone ECAC West win, a 6-4 triumph over Manhattanville on 1/25/13… scored a shootout goal against Skidmore to enable Nazareth to advance to the championship game of the Skidmore Invitational on 11/24/12… named ECAC West Rookie of the Week for 1/27/12.

Before Nazareth: a 2012 graduate of the Brooks School in Massachusetts, Jones played hockey, baseball and lacrosse… named to the ISL all-star team for hockey in 2011-12 at Brooks as he helped team capture the ISL Eberhart Division title… played at Skaneateles High before that, Jones earned Section Three all-star honors in 2009-10 and helped team to Onondaga League title… recipient of Rick Whalen Award for passion and leadership as well as William S. Barr Trophy for sportsmanship and dedication.
