Communication and Media and Legal Studies major... born 5/23/94... son of Joel and Natalie Janzen, Denver, Col... team captain... returning for his fourth season, Janzen played in all 26 games for the Golden Flyers in 2016-17 and finished second on the team in scoring with 23 points on four goals and a team-high 19 assists... led the ECAC West with 15 assists... earned honorable mention all-conference honors and was named to the ECAC West All-Academic team... had three assists in a game three times -- against Lebanon Valley on 11/13/16, at Lebanon Valley on 2/10/17 and at Stevenson on 2/11/17... had one goal and one assist vs. Brockport on 10/29/16, at Cortland on 12/3/16 and at Manhattanville on 1/27/17... scored the Golden Flyers' lone goal in a 4-1 playoff loss to Neumann on 2/22/17... had 10 minor penalties for 20 minutes.

2015-16: Janzen enjoyed a strong season for the Golden Flyers in 2015-16 as he finished tied for the team lead with eight goals and added six assists for 14 points... three of his goals came on the power play... scored twice in a 5-3 loss at Geneseo on 12/11/15... had a goal and an assist at Elmira on 2/6/16... also scored at home against Hobart on 11/13/15, against Manhattanville on 1/29/16 and against Neumann on 2/13/16 and at Manhattanville on 11/2015 and at Elmira on 2/5/16... named to ECAC West Honor Roll for 12/15/15... named to ECAC West All-Academic team (3.0 GPA or higher).

2014-15: Janzen enjoyed a strong first season in 2014-15 as he played in all 27 games and finished third on the team in scoring with 23 points on 12 goals and 11 assists... also had 12 penalty minutes on six minor penalties... named to the ECAC West All-Rookie team and twice honored as ECAC West Rookie of the Week (for 11/29/14 and 2/9/15)... named to the ECAC West Honor Roll for 12/8/15... had three points in a game three times -- with two goals, one assist at Elmira on 12/5/14, at home vs. Elmira on 1/30/15 and at Manhattanville on 2/7/15... played for the Golden Flyers' golf team in the fall of 2015.

Before Nazareth: a 2012 graduate of The Culver Academies in Indiana, Janzen played hockey and soccer there... spent the 2013-14 season with the Rochester Junior Americans of the U.S. Premier Hockey League and played 42 games... totaled 41 points on 15 goals and 26 assists with 28 penalty minutes... played 15 games for the Wichita Falls Wildcats of the North American Hockey League in 2012-13.
