Physical Therapy major...son of Frank and Deborah Manzella, Hopkinton, Mass... returning for a fifth season, Manzella was granted an extra season because of an injury suffered in 2014-15... played in all 25 games as a defenseman in 2017-18 and contributed three goals and nine assists for 12 points... had two assists each at Geneseo on 10/28/17, at Chatham on 2/4/18 and against King's on 2/17/18... also scored in a 3-1 win at Chatham on 11/17/17, in a 2-2 tie at Potsdam on 1/5/18 and in a 5-3 win at Potsdam on 1/6/18... also had four minor penalties for eight minutes... named to the United Collegiate Hockey Conference's all-Academic team for student-athletes with a GPA of 3.20 or greater... senior recipient of the Emily Haskins Inspirational Athlete award, recognizing athletic achievement as well as inspiration to others. 

2016-17: Manzella played in 21 games in 2016-17 and had six assists... had three assists in Nazareth's 10-2 win over Lebanon Valley on 11/13/16... also had nine minor penalties for 18 minutes... named to the ECAC West All-Academic team.

2015-16: Manzella played in 19 games in 2015-16 and contributed three goals and two assists while playing a regular shift on defense... scored his first career goal in a 6-3 home-ice win over Manhattanville on 1/29/16... also scored at Elmira on 2/6/16 and had one goal and one assist at Utica on 2/19/16... had nine minor penalties for 18 minutes... named to the ECAC West All-Academic team (3.0 GPA or higher).

2014-15: Manzella played in eight games in 2014-15 and had an assist in the Golden Flyers' 7-1 season-opening win over Brockport on 11/1/14... missed the remaining 19 games with a thumb injury... also a member of the Nazareth lacrosse team, but did not play due to injury.

Before Nazareth: a 2011 graduate of Hopkinton High School in Massachusetts, Manzella excelled in hockey and lacrosse there... played two seasons for the Boston Junior Bruins of the Eastern Junior Hockey League and had three goals and four assists with 18 penalty minutes in 59 games... played 14 games in the U.S. Premier Hockey League in 2013-14 and had one goal and three assists... served as team captain in lacrosse at Hopkinton and was a two-time Tri-Valley League all-star.
