Biography
Physical Therapy major... born 10/29/92... son of Vincent and Dianne Amuso, Webster, N.Y... team captain... returning for his fourth season, Amuso is the Golden Flyers' lone senior... appeared in 17 games in 2013-14 and scored seven points, including a three-point field goal in Nazareth's win at Alfred State on 1/23/14.
2012-13: Amuso played in 24 of Nazareth’s games, including one as a starter… averaged 2.0 points and 0.8 rebounds per game in an average of 10 minutes of playing time per game… went 11-for-33 from three-point range, including three three-pointers for a career-best nine points against Houghton (12/7/12)… also recorded nine assists and six steals.
2011-12: Amuso saw action against Morrisville State (11/18/11) and Hartwick (2/10/12) and recorded a steal and a rebound.
Scholastic: a graduate of McQuaid Jesuit, Amuso played two seasons of varsity basketball there... led team in three-point shooting and helped the Knights to a runner-up finish in the Section Five Class AA Tournament in 2010... recipient of New York State Scholar-Athlete award for both seasons... also competed in baseball.
