Accounting and Economics major... born 6/7/92... son of Buddy and Cindy Hayford, Wilmington, Vt... returning for his fourth season, Hayford started all 25 of Nazareth’s games during the 2012-13 campaign… averaged 8.4 points and 4.0 rebounds with 40 three-point baskets in an average of 34.8 minutes per game… also contributed 35 assists and 22 steals… Hayford finished in double-digits in scoring nine times and had a career-high 24 points against Alfred (1/25/13) and had 18 points against Hartwick (1/4/13)… named Nazareth’s representative on the Empire 8 Sportsman of the Year team…

2011-12: Hayford appeared in all 27 of Nazareth’s games, including one as a starter… averaged 3.1 points and 3.4 rebounds in a reserve role... posted a double-double with a season-high in points (12) and a career-high in rebounds (12) against Utica on 2/4/12... also had 12 points against Elmira on 1/14/12... finished second on the team in free throw accuracy (28-36, .778)… also totaled 92 rebounds, 14 steals and 14 assists…

2010-11: Hayford played in 16 games and contributed 10 points, including two three-point baskets... scored five points in 14 minutes vs. RIT on 1/11/11...

Scholastic: a graduate of Twin Valley High School, Hayford played four seasons of varsity basketball there... named to Vermont Senior Twin State Team and Vermont Basketball Coaches Association Dream Dozen... nominated for McDonald's All-American team... also competed in soccer and track and field.
