N.Y... returning for his fourth season, Droney was the only player on the roster to play in all 29 games and he started the first two games of the season ... he finished the year with 21 rebounds including a season-high seven in the season opener against Buffalo State.

2020-21: Droney played in all 12 games for the Golden Flyers during the pandemic-shortened 2021 season... scored 10 points and grabbed 17 rebounds, including a career-best six rebounds against Rochester on 2/26/21... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Conference Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above.

Scholastic: a graduate of Olean High School, Droney was a standout in basketball, cross country and track and field... earned an array of accolades over three seasons of varsity basketball, including Big 30 second team honors from the Olean Times-Herald and all-Western New York honors from the Buffalo News... helped team to 66-6 record, three CCAA West League titles, Section Six titles in 2018 and 2019 and the Far West Regional title in '19... named cross country team's Most Valuable Runner in 2017... played for Corey Graham Elite club team... earned academic awards for excellence in Art, English, Math, Physical Education and Science... recipient of New York State Academic Excellence Scholarship and Xerox Award... member of National Honor Society, Student Council and Student Activities Council.
