Nazareth College Athletics

Business Management major... son of Robert and Julie Haggard, Painted Post, N.Y... returns for a fifth season of eligibility after appearing in 26 and starting 16 games as a senior and earned All-Empire honors as a Third Team selection … averaged 10.7 points and 3.7 rebounds per game as he moved into the starting lineup for 16 of the final 17 games of the year … scored at least 20 points in three different games including a season-high 23 points against Utica (1/10) with 8-for-10 shooting from the field and a perfect 5-for-5 from 3-point range … his .476 3-point shooting percentage (40-for-84) led the team … he ranked fifth on the team with 30 assists.

2021-22: Haggard established himself as one of the top reserves off the bench for the team in 2021-22 ... he played in 14 games and made one start before an injury cut his season short in early February ... he finished with 3.5 points and 1.4 rebounds per game ... he scored a season-high 13 points in the season opener against Buffalo State.

2020-21: Haggard made huge strides for the Golden Flyers during the pandemic-shortened 2021 season as he started all 12 games... averaged 8.7 points and 2.7 rebounds per game and led the team with 17 three-point baskets... scored in double digits four times with a career-best of 25 points in back to back games -- against Utica on 3/22/21 and at St. John Fisher on 4/1/21... made five three-point shots in each of those games.

2019-20: Haggard played in 15 games for the Golden Flyers in 2019-20 and contributed 14 points and four rebounds.

Scholastic: a graduate of Corning Painted Post High School, Haggard excelled there in basketball and football... played four seasons of varsity basketball and helped team to Section Four Class AA title in 2016-17... named to Elite 10 all-star team by the Corning Leader and to the Southern Tier Athletic Conference all-star team... named team MVP and all-state in Class AA... member of National Honor Society.
