Business Administration major. . . son of Richard and Laura Canori, Webster, N.Y. . . team captain. . . returning for his fourth season, Canori enjoyed another sensational season statistically as he led the Empire 8 Conference in scoring for the second year in a row at 19.6 points per game. . . led the Golden Flyers in three-point baskets (72) and free-throw percentage (75-for-94, .798). . . earned honorable mention all-conference honors. . . named E8 Player of the Week three times. . . named Rochester Area College Player of the Week for 12/31/06 . . . ranked among the Division III Leaders in scoring, three-point field goal percentage and three-pointers ade per game. . . named MVP of Nazareth Tip-Off Tournament and named to JPMorgan Chase all-tournament team. . . reached double figures in scoring in 23 of 25 games and had 20 points or better 13 times. . . scored a season-high 30 points vs. St. John Fisher 1/6/07. . . scored his 1,000th career point vs. Wheaton, Ill. 12/29/06. . . competed during the summer in Italy as a member of the USA Athletes International team and averaged 26 points per game. . .
2005-06: started 24 of 25 games and led the Empire 8 in scoring at 20.6 points per game. . . also led the conference in three-point field goals made per game (3.12) and was second in three-point accuracy (78-for-173, .451) . . . ranked 35th nationally in scoring and 16th in three-point percentage. . . earned second-team E8 Conference all-star honors. . . twice was honored as E8 Player of the Week. . . named to all-tournament teams for Coles Classic at Buffalo State, the "O" Club Classic at Otterbein and for the JPMorgan Chase Scholarship Tournament. . . scored in double figures 22 times and had 20 points or better 16 times, including a career-high 35 points at Buffalo State 11/19/05. . . also scored 34 points vs. Thomas More 12/30/05 and 30 at Elmira 1/6/06. . . tied a school record with eight three-point baskets vs. Buffalo State 11/19/05. . .
2004-05: started all 25 games and averaged 14 points per game and led the team in three-point baskets (52), steals (25) and free-throw percentage (43-for-52, .827). . . named Empire 8 Conference Rookie of the Year and was an honorable mention all-conference selection. . . named E8 Rookie of the Week five times. . . named to all-tournament team at NYU and was second-team all-tournament team selection for the JPMorgan Chase Tournament. . . scored in double digits 20 times and had 20 points or more five times, including a season-high 24 against Hartwick 2/11/05. . .
Scholastic: a graduate of Webster Thomas High School, Canori played three seasons of varsity basketball there and earned an array of honors, including team MVP honors in 2003 and 2004. . . named Monroe County Division II Player of the Year in 2004 and was a two-time first-team all-Greater Rochester selection by the Democrat and Chronicle newspaper. . . an all-state selection in '03-04. . . averaged 23.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in 2003-04 and set a school record with 66 three-point baskets. . . amassed 1,167 career points, including 145 three-pointers. . . competed in Empire State Games in 2003 and in Ronald McDonald exceptional senior all-star game in 2004. . . member of National Honor Society. . . competed in the summer of '06 for the USA Athletes International basketball team that played in Belgium and the Netherlands. . . team finished 11-2 and Canori was named to the all-star team.
