Psychology and Early Education major...  son of Tom and Tammy Burgio, Brockport, N.Y… returning for his fourth season, Burgio was spectacular for the Golden Flyers in 2017-18 as he started all 28 games and led the team in rebounding at 8.8 per game and was second in scoring at 16.1 points per game... also led the Golden Flyers with 32 blocked shots and was second in the E8 in field goal accuracy at .570 (183-for-321)... posted 10 double-doubles (points-rebounds)... had 24 double-digit scoring games, including a career-high 29 points against Buffalo State on 11/21/17... had a career-high 19 rebounds (to go with 21 points) in a win over Sage on 1/27/18... had games of 26 and 21 points against Alfred and Utica respectively in the Empire 8 Tournament to help Nazareth claim the conference title... had 19 points and 10 rebounds against Hamilton in the NCAA Tournament... earned an array of accolades, including first-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors and third-team all-East Region from d3hoops.com... also picked to the Rochester Chapter of the United States Basketball Writers Association all-star team... named E8 Player of the Week for 1/15/18.

2016-17: Burgio enjoyed a strong season as he appeared in all 26 games, including one as a starter... led the team in rebounding at 7.7 boards per game and blocked shots at 1.5 per game and was third in scoring at 10.7 points per game... shot well from the floor (103-for-183, .563) and from the free-throw line (70-for-89, .787)... reached double figures in scoring 15 times, including a season-high 20 points (on 8-for-9 shooting) in a home-court win over Hartwick on 1/21/17... had a season-high 16 rebounds in an overtime loss at Stevens on 2/18/17.

2015-16: Burgio appeared in 24 games as a freshman, averaging 5.1 minutes per game ... scored his first collegiate point, a 3-pointer as time expired, to lift Nazareth over Sage 95-94 on 11/14/15... posted season highs in points (8) and rebounds (9) in a game at St. John Fisher on 12/5/15.

Scholastic: a graduate of Brockport High School, Burgio played five seasons of varsity basketball and earned first-team Monroe County League all-star honors as a senior and second-team honors as a junior... an honorable mention All-Greater Rochester selection in basketball and volleyball.
