Accounting major. . . son of John and Alice Miranda, East Syracuse, N.Y. . . returning for his third season, Miranda played in five games, including two as a starter before missing the remainder of the year with a wrist injury. . . tallied 25 points, 31 rebounds, six steals, and six assists in his limited playing time. . .
2007-08: Miranda made some significant contributions, appearing in 24 games, including six as a starter . . . scored 52 points and grabbed 69 rebounds and made eight three-point baskets. . . best game was a 14-point, 15-rebound effort against Stevens 1/5/08. . .
Scholastic: a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse, Miranda played three seasons of varsity basketball there. . . served as team captain and was selected team MVP in 2006-07. . . helped team to runner-up finish in Section Three Class AA Tournament in 2006 and championship of Zebra Classic in '07.
