Scholastic: a graduate of Clarence High School, Distefano was a member of the varsity field hockey team for two seasons. . . received the team’s Coaches’ Award and the ECIC Sportsmanshio Award. . . was named to the ECIC large school all-star team and received second-team all-Western New York honorable mention honors. . . helped team to the best record in school history during her senior season. . . earned several leadership scholarships including the Varsity Club and National Honor Society scholarships. . . also a member of National Honor Society and a scholar athlete.
