Nickole Lobdell

A former goalie for the Nazareth field hockey team, East Rochester native Nickole Lobdell is back in 2012 for her fifth season as a part-time assistant coach for the Golden Flyers.

Lobdell played two seasons for the Golden Flyers (1997 and 1998) and posted a 1.12 goals-against average with 12 shutouts. She graduated from Nazareth in 2001 and has a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. She is a teacher at Monroe #1 BOCES.

Lobdell's coaching experience includes three seasons as freshman basketball coach and modified field hockey coach at Brighton High School and four seasons as JV basketball coach at Victor High School.

Lobdell was a standout athlete at East Rochester, where she holds the all-time scoring record for basketball and set the school record in the discus as a member of the track and field team. She was a two-time all-state selection as a goalie in field hockey.
