Business Management major... son of Michael and Stephanie Herrera, Syracuse, N.Y... returning for his second season, Herrera played in eight games during the pandemic-shortened 2021 season and contributed two assists... also played for the Golden Flyers' lacrosse team in 2021 and went 94-for-183 (.514) on face-offs with 49 ground balls.

Before Nazareth: a 2020 graduate of Westhill High School in Syracuse, Herrera played hockey and lacrosse there... spent the 2019-20 hockey season playing for the Utica Junior Comets... played two games in the National Collegiate Development Conference and 35 in the U.S. Premier Hockey League... produced 10 goals and eight assists with 48 penalty minutes... served as a face-off specialist in lacrosse and helped Westhill to Section Three title in 2018.
