2019-20: Nelson played in all 27 games in 2019-20, including 26 as a starter... averaged 7.4 points and 3.1 rebounds per game with 31 three-point baskets... ranked second on the team with 63 assists... served as Nazareth's representative as Empire 8 Sportsman of the Year... scored in double figures six times with a career-high 20 points against St. John Fisher in the Empire 8 championship game on 2/29/20... had 18 points in a home-court win over Alfred on 1/31/20... named to the Empire 8 Conference Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and higher.

2018-19: Nelson played regularly for the Golden Flyers in 2018-19 as he appeared in all 26 games and contributed 2.9 points per game... shot 35.7 percent (15-for-42) from three-point range and went 6-for-6 from the free-throw line... scored a season-best 12 points with five rebounds and two three-pointers in a win over RIT on 12/6/18.

2017-18: Nelson gave the Golden Flyers valuable minutes off the bench in 2017-18 as he appeared in all 28 games and averaged 2.4 points per game with 12 three-point baskets... scored a season-best 11 points in a home-court win over Elmira on 2/8/18.

Scholastic: a graduate of Brighton High School, Nelson excelled there in basketball and baseball... named Monroe County Division 3 Player of the Year in 2017 and was a first-team all-league selection as well as second-team All-Greater Rochester by the Democrat and Chronicle... competed in the Ronald McDonald senior all-star game... played three seasons as a third baseman in baseball and earned first-team Monroe County League all-star honors in 2017 and team MVP honors... recipient of Hopps Senior Male Athletic Achievement Award.
