Physical Therapy major. . . born 10/24/90. . . daughter of John and Christine Zimmerman, East Aurora, N.Y. . . returning for her second season with the Golden Flyers, played in all 39 of Nazareth's matches in 2008. . . finished third on the team in kills and total blocks with 273 and 53 respectively. . . added 132 digs and 18 service aces. . . delivered a career-high 21 kills against New York University (11/1/08) in the Regional Challenge. . . recorded 16 kills against RIT (10/25/08), 13 kills against Fredonia (10/21/08) and Stevens (10/26/08), tallied 12 kills against Capital (9/20/08) and Wellesley (10/18/08), and recorded 11 kills in four additional matches. . . earned Empire 8 Rookie of the Year honors and was named the Empire 8 Rookie of the Week for the week that ended September 21st. . . Scholastic: a graduate of East Aurora High School, Zimmerman played three seasons of varsity volleyball there. . . earned first-team all-state honors for Class B and Section Six all-star honors. . . set single-season records for kills (222), service aces (82) and blocks (50) while helping team to section title and a trip to the state tournament. . . served as team captain for two seasons. . . member of the National Honor Society.
