Communication Sciences and Disorders major. . . daughter of Michael Villane and Constance Loop, Canandaigua, N.Y. . . returning for her fourth season, Villane played in 38 of Nazareth's 39 matches during the 2008 season. . . ranked fourth on the team in service aces with 35 and ranked fifth on the team in digs with 177. . . tallied at least 10 digs in seven matches including a season-high 15 digs against Rochester (8/30/08) and she added 12 digs against Wellesley (10/18/08). . . recorded a season-high five service aces, with no service errors, against Utica (10/25/08). . . 2007: Villane played in 137 games and finished second on the team with 411 digs. . . also ranked second on the team with 69 service aces. . . reached double digits in digs 18 times, twice reaching a career-best of 24 -- vs. Skidmore 8/31/07 and vs. Williams 9/29/07 . . . had seven services aces vs. Cortland 9/14/07. . . 2006: appeared in 135 games and had a team-high 487 digs… also had 27 service aces . . . had 20 digs or better in eight matches, including a season-best 23 vs. Dubuque 10/14/06. . . Scholastic: a graduate of Canandaigua Academy, Villane played four seasons of volleyball there. . . earned team MVP honors and was an honorable mention selection to the Section Five all-star team. . . helped team to three Section Five titles and two Finger Lakes League championships.
