Mathematics major with inclusive education. . . daughter of Keith Reed, Norwich, N.Y. and Sharon Reed, Horseheads, N.Y. . . returning for her fourth season, Reed continued to be an impact player for the Golden Flyers in 2008 as she was recognized as a third-team All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association and led all of Division III with a .410 hitting percentage. . . appeared in all 39 of the Golden Flyers' matches and led the team in services aces (59) and total blocks (78). . . finished second on the team in kills with 280. . .tallied at least 10 kills in 18 of Nazareth's matches. . . recorded a season-high 14 kills against Ithaca (10/4/08) and also recorded 13 kills against Springfield (10/3/08) and RIT (10/25/08). . . tallied a season-high six service aces against Alfred (9/26/08). . . also recognized as a first-team New York Region all-star and a first-team Empire 8 Conference all-star. . . currently ranks second all-time in career service aces with 243, 13 behind former stand-ut Tricia Jones. . . also ranks sixth all-time in total blocks with 240. . . 2007: appeared in all 40 matches and 136 games overall . . . finished third on the team with 322 kills (2.37 per game) and a .357 hitting percentage. . . set a single-season school record with 104 service aces. . . led the team with 93 blocks. . . equaled a career-best with 16 kills three times in '07 . . . had seven service aces in a match vs. Hartwick 10/5/07. . . 2006:  was among the Empire 8's top first-year players as she appeared in 131 games and recorded a team-high 80 service aces…was second on the team with 69 total digs and ranked third on the team in kills with 260 to go with a .302 hitting percentage…named Empire 8 Rookie of the Week twice and received all-conference honorable mention honors . . . reached double figures in kills eight times, including a career-best 16 kills vs. Ithaca 10/21/06. . . twice served up seven aces in a match -- vs. John Carroll 9/22/06 and vs. Bridgewater 10/13/06 . . . Scholastic: a graduate of Horseheads High School, Reed was a four-year volleyball standout there. . . named first-team all-state for 2006 after earning second-team honors in ’05. . . twice named as a first-team all-star in the Southern Tier Athletic Conference. . . helped team to Section Four titles in 2002, 2004 and 2005. . . nominated as 2006 Horseheads Athlete of the Year.
