Sociology major. . . daughter of Shawn and Mary Adam, LaFayette, N.Y. . . returning for her third season, Adam played in 122 games in 2007 and was second on the team with 67 blocks and in service aces with 63. . . also had 172 kills. . . twice recorded season-high of 10 kills -- vs. Cortland 9/1/07 and vs. RIT 11/3/07. . . had 10 service aces vs. Cortland 9/1/07 and eight more vs. the Red Dragons in the NCAA Tournament 11/9/07. . .  2006: played in 109 games and was third on the team with 63 total blocks. . . also recorded 165 kills and 22 service aces. . . twice recorded a career-high 11 kills in a match -- vs. Dubuque 10/14/06 and vs. St. John Fisher 10/17/06 . . . Scholastic: a graduate of LaFayette High School, Adam was a standout in volleyball and lacrosse. . . named Section Three Class C Player of the Year in 2005-06 and was named first-team all-state. . . also a second-team selection in ’04-05 and twice named to Section Three all-star team. . . helped team to league, sectional and regional titles in ’04-05 and ’05-06. . . ranks as school’s all-time leader in kills and blocks. . . in lacrosse, earned Onondaga High School League all-star honors for the Colonial American Division as one of the league’s top scorers.
