Business Management major... born 05/25/95… daughter of Richard and Mary Ellen Messmer, Albion, N.Y… returning for her fourth season, Messmer appeared in 35 matches and 126 sets in 2015... led the team in kills with 405 (3.21 per set), service aces (75) and finished second in digs with 367... also totaled 32 blocks …  registered 24 matches with double-digit kills, including a career-high 20 against Southern Maine on 10/17/15 … collected double-digit digs in 20 matches, including a career-high 16 against Rochester on 10/13/15 … earned second-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors... named to all-tournament team for the Golden Flyer Invitational as well as the New York Challenge, RIT Invitational and Hartwick Invitational.

2014: Messmer played in all 36 matches and 128 sets overall… totaled 156 kills, 37 service aces, 188 digs and 19 blocks… twice recorded a season-high of eight kills – vs Houghton on 9/24/14 and vs. Cortland on 10/18/14… twice had 12 digs – vs. Whittier on 10/10/14 and vs. Kean on 10/31/14.
 
2013: Messmer played in 29 matches and 94 sets overall… totaled 121 kills, 43 service aces and 173 digs… twice amassed a season-best of 13 kills – in four-set wins over Skidmore and Oneonta on 9/13/13… had seven service aces in a home-court win over Hilbert on 9/7/13… named to all-tournament team for Union Invitational.
 
Scholastic: a graduate of Albion High School, Messmer played four seasons of varsity volleyball there… served as team captain and twice was honored as team MVP… a two-time all-state honoree as well as first-team all-Western New York and first-team Niagara-Orleans County League all-star… named U.S. Air Force Recruiters’ Scholar-Athlete of the Year… helped team to three league titles as well as Section Six Class B title in 2011… also competed in softball and track… member of National Honor Society and recipient of several academic scholarships, including Albion Alumni Scholarship.
