ROCHESTER N.Y  The Nazareth Track and Field team traveled the short distance to St.John Fisher to compete in the Cardinal Classic on Saturday April 25th. Many great performances occurred making for a successful day for the Golden Flyers.  

How It Happened: 

• In the 400-meter race Evan Laurenzo placed 9th overall with a time of 54.33 and Benjamin Brewer in 12th with a time of 55.85

• Cameron Almy placed 3rd in the 1500-meter race crossing the line with a time of 4:03.85 moving into 6th all time on the Nazareth Top-Ten list, Kaedan Leonidas placed 9th overall with a time of 4:09.43

• Gavin McAllister took 6th place in the 800 meter race with a time of 2:00.62, Jack Healy came in soon after in 8th place hitting the line at 2:01.14

• In the 400 hurdles Alexzander Vilkhu came in at 3rd place with a time of 1:03.83

Next, the Golden Flyers will compete at St John Fisher for the empire 8 Championship meet on Friday, May 1st and Saturday, May 2nd.
