ROCHESTER, NY - Kyle Rosenberger netted his 100th career goal to lead the Golden Flyers to a 25-5 victory over Utica on Saturday afternoon. Nazareth begins conference play with a win and improves to 3-6 overall on the year. 
 
How It Happened:

• Nazareth got the goalscoring started just over three minutes in via Anthony Menickelli's unassisted tally.
• Under a minute later, William O'Neill doubled the Golden Flyer lead, making it 2-0. Noah Olbrich picked up the assist, he would finish the day with four. 
• Nazareth would go on to score five more in the first quarter to take a 7-0 lead after 15 minutes of play. 
• The Golden Flyers didn't stop there as they picked up seven more goals through the first nine minutes of the second quarter. Matthew Farrington scored three goals in that span while Kyle Rosenberger added two. 
• Utica would eventually get on the board shortly after the 14th Nazrareth goal. Nazareth responded with two more goals before half to make it 16-1 at the break. 
• Nazareth slowed pace down in the third quarter but still managed to beat the goaltender five times. The score after three quarters was 21-4. 
• In the fourth quarter, the Golden Flyers outscored the Pioneers 4-1 to cap off a dominated 25-5 victory. 

Game Notes:

• Connor Fundis, Jimmy Donnelly and Ben Wilson notched their first collegiate goals
• Matthew Farrington recorded a season high 5 goals and added 3 assists
• Kyle Rosenberger and William O'Neill both had 3 goals
• George Monahan recorded four points, setting a new career high
• Joey Hathorn also had four points which tied his career high 
• Justin Skelly scored his first goal as a Golden Flyer
• Cole Doldo went 16 for 23 on faceoffs
• Four goalies saw action for Nazareth, starter Sven Habitzreuther was credited with the win and had 5 saves
• With the win, Nazareth has won 16 straight meetings against Utica
