Habitzreuther Makes 17 Saves as Men’s Lacrosse Falls to Clarkson, 7-6

POTSDAM, NY – Nazareth came up just short in a back and forth battle on Saturday, falling to Clarkson 7-6. The loss drops the Golden Flyers to 0–3 for the first time since 2022, while Clarkson earns its first win of the season.
 
How It Happened:
  • Nazareth opened the afternoon with a quick 2-0 burst, courtesy of goals from Joey Hathorn and William O'Neill.
  • Clarkson responded strong, ripping off five straight goals to take a 5-2 lead midway through the 2nd quarter.
  • Matthew Farrington responded for Nazareth just three minutes later to cut the Clarkson lead to 5-3 before halftime. 
  • Early in the third quarter, William Meagher and Kyle Rosenberger added two goals for Nazareth to tie the game. 
  • Once again, Clarkson would respond with two goals of their own to regain their lead, 7-5. 
  • Kyle Rosenberger would add one more for Nazareth in the fourth quarter but it proved to not be enough as Clarkson squeezed out the 7-6 win.

  • Nazareth will hit the road to take on Ithaca College on Wednesday, March 4th at 4 p.m.
