ROCHESTER, NY - An eight goal run in the opening half propelled RIT past Nazareth, 16-3, on Wednesday evening. Nazareth drops to 0-2 on the season while RIT moves to 20-0.
How It Happened:
- RIT came out strong as they scored four goals in the first quarter to take a 4-0 lead.
- After three more RIT goals, Briana Panko scored an unassisted goal to get Nazareth on the board.
- Then with 48 seconds remaining in the first half, Grace Gardner buried her fourth goal of the season to make it 8-2.
- The third quarter would see three total goals with RIT getting two of them. Megan Martin scored the goal for Nazareth,
- That would be the last of the goals for Nazareth, as RIT scored six straight to finish off the game.
