ROCHESTER, NY - Senior Tatum Overton scored an early goal as Nazareth came out strong, but a late goal from Hartwick was enough to force a 1-1 draw on Saturday afternoon at Golden Flyer Stadium. 
 

How it Happened:

• Nazareth started the game strong, generating three corners and 10 shots through 20 minutes of play

• In the 13th minute, Senior Tatum Overton got Nazareth on the board scoring off a corner kick from Alice O'Connor. Overton one-timed a left-footed shot past the goalkeeper for her second goal of the season

• In the 27th minute, Carolina Lott-Diamond recorded her fifth shot of the half off a great play with Shannon Sgombick and Tatum Overton, but the Hartwick goalkeeper stood tall to keep the game at 1-0 

• Nazareth ended the first half outshooting Hartwick 16-2

• The second half began with more of the same from Nazareth as they carried play and generated opportunities 

• However, in the 87th minute, Hartwick was able to get on the board and tie the game 1-1

• As time was winding down, Nazareth was able to create a few chances at the Hartwick goal but were unable to convert

• The game ended with Nazareth outshooting Hartwick 24-5

Game Notes:

• Tatum Overton scored her 25th career goal as a Golden Flyer

• Nazareth's 24 shots was enough for a tea- high on the season
