ROCHESTER, N.Y. (nazathletics.com) - Nazareth Women's Volleyball (0-7) fell to the University of Rochester (2-8), 3-0, Tuesday night inside Louis Alexander Palestra. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Nazareth and Rochester tied three times before the Yellowjackets used two, 3-0 runs to take a 20-14 lead in the first set. Rochester scored five of the next eight points to close out the frame 25-17.
• After the Yellowjackets recorded three straight to start the second stanza, the Golden Flyers bounced back to score the next four points and go up 4-3. Rochester responded with seven of the next nine points to take back the lead, 10-7. The Yellowjackets kept their advantage for the remainder of the set, winning the second frame 25-17.
• Rochester jumped out to an early 5-1 edge in the final set and stayed in front the rest of the way. The Yellowjackets capitalized on three, 4-0 runs to register their largest lead of the night at 21-13. Rochester closed out the match with three straight points to take the third set 25-16. 

MATCH NOTES 

• Alana Lucey led the Golden Flyers with a season-high seven kills at a .417 clip
• Leah Fusilli chipped in a team-best three aces from the service line with six digs and four kills 
• Jenna Mattison added nine digs to bring her season total to 66

Nazareth plays No. 9 Johns Hopkins at Juniata in Huntingdon, Pa., Friday, Sept. 19. First serve is scheduled for 5 p.m.
