Box Score ROCHESTER, NY – First-year Giuliana Rodriguez netted her first career goal, although the Golden Flyers were handled by the University of Rochester 4-1 on Wednesday at Golden Flyer Stadium. Nazareth is now 2-2 overall, while Rochester is 2-0-2. 

How it Happened:

• Rochester opened the scoring 17^th minute
• Caitlyn Smithers played a ball from behind midfield, that took once bounce before Rodriguez took advantage of the Yellowjackets goalkeeper way off her line. She one-touched a left-footed shot over top the keeper and into the net
• The score remained 1-1 until the 42^nd minute and the Yellowjackets added a key goal with just 11 seconds remaining in the half to take 3-1 lead into the break
• Rochester added to its lead in the 71^st minute after it was awarded a penalty kick
• Goalkeeper Delaney Malone surrendered four goals in 75 minutes of action, making five saves
• Sophomore goalkeeper Katriana Walls saw her first action of the season, making one save

• Nazareth surrendered three goals in a half for the first time since October 9, 2024 against Brockport
