ROCHESTER, NY – Nazareth is excited to welcome two new athletic trainers onto the staff in
Bryce Nowicki and
Kyle Wells as announced by Athletics Director Pete Bothner. Nowicki's primary sports at Nazareth will be men's and women's tennis, women's hockey, and rowing), while Wells will be men's and women's cross country, men's hockey, and softball.
Nowicki is a 2025 graduate of the University of Alabama after obtaining his Master of Science in Athletic Training. During his time at Alabama, Nowicki worked with the men's basketball, men's and women's tennis, and men's baseball teams. He utilized therapeutic modalities and assisted with rehabilitation during his tenure.
Prior to Alabama, Nowicki graduated from Buffalo State University as a Criminal Justice major.
In 2024, he did an internship with Burd Physical Therapy in Rochester.
Wells joins the staff after experiences in all three NCAA Divisions, high school, along with outpatient clinics. Most recently, Wells was an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Daemen University in Buffalo, NY where he assisted with men's soccer, men's and women's cross country/track and field, women's volleyball, and men's and women's tennis teams.
The Lock Haven University graduate earned a Masters in Athletic Training in 2021. His undergraduate degree was in Exercise Science. His previous experience included a trainer at the University of Rochester Medical Center and per diem stints at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and UMBD Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Buffalo, NY.
