ROCHESTER, NY – Eleven different scorers found the back of the net as the Nazaeth women's lacrosse team improved to 3-0 in Empire 8 play with a 21- 8 route of Hartwick on Saturday at NLPA field. The Golden Flyers honored their six seniors prior in Juilia Dietz,
Makenna Misiurewicz,
Sophia Scialdone,
Grace Seither, and
Emily Reichard.
Nazareth is now 7-4 overall and 3-0 in the Empire 8, while Hartwick drops to 3-6 and 0-3, respectively.
Liddie Hoare (5G, 1A), Dietz (1G, 5A), and Scialdone (3G, 3A) each finished the day with six points. Scialdone now has a team-leading 55 points on 33 goals and 22 assists.
Allie Klestinec made 10 saves in the win, while
Gianna Tantalo played the final 11:22.
Nazareth led 6-2 after one quarter and 13-4 at the half.
Grace Gardner was good for two goals and two assists, while Reichard had three goals and Misiurewicz notched two goals and one assist. Seither,
Emily Paddock and
Katherine McPeak all tallied a goal.
Sydney Dann scored her first goal of the year, while
Isabella Bonventre notched her first collegiate goal.
Nazareth returns to action on Wednesday, traveling to Keuka for a 7 p.m. contest.
