Nazareth Rolls Brockport 17-3
Nazareth's bats stayed hot coming off of a conference win, starting off its dominant victory over Brockport with three runs in the top of the first inning. Morgan Russo led off the inning with a solo homerun for Nazareth's first run of the game. Ashley Bell then singled up the middle and was brought around on a homer by Kaijah Alexander to make the score 3-0 heading into the bottom of the first.

After allowing Brockport to earn one back in the bottom of the first, the Golden Flyers brought around two more runs in the second. Haleigh Suitor started the inning with a double. Russo then hit a second homer with two outs to make the score 5-1.

Despite having runners on second and third, Nazareth held Brockport scoreless in the bottom of the second to segue into the gate-opening top of the third where Nazareth put up six runs. Scoring for the Golden Flyers in the third was Sarah Ferruzza, Alexander, Suitor, Hailey Trank, Julia Maciag, and Avery Zembek. Hitting in the inning for Nazareth was Alexander, Ferruzza, Trank, Maciag, and Russo all with singles.

Heading into the top of the fourth Nazareth led 11-2. The Golden Flyers had another six run inning in the fourth, Ferruzza, Caitlyn Knapp, Maciag, Zembek, Suitor, and Russo. Ferruzza, Suitor, and Anna Spencer singled for the Golden Flyers, while Russo hit a grand slam to bring around Nazareth's final runs of the game as the Golden Flyers led 17-2 heading into the bottom of the fourth.

After Brockport scored one run in the bottom of the fourth, both teams were silent in the fifth inning to force a run-rule as Nazareth took the win 17-3.

Zembek threw the entire game for the Golden Flyers allowing three earned runs and tallying three strikeouts on 24 batters faced.

Nazareth Wins Second Game 10-2
Nazareth once again led off with three runs in the first inning of second game. Scoring for the Golden Flyers was Alexander, Ferruzza, and Bell. The runners were brought around on singles by Alexander, Ferruzza, and Knapp.

After holding Brockport scoreless in the bottom of the first, Nazareth scored two more in the top of the second. Russo and Maciag were Nazareth's scorers, coming around on Alexander's single to make the score 5-0, where the score would stay until the fourth inning.

In the top of the fourth, Nazareth put up another three runs. Maciag started the inning with a triple, which was followed up by a Russo homer. Nazareth's third run of the inning was another home run by Alexander.

Brockport finally got on the board with one run in the bottom of the fourth, which was quickly negated by two more runs from the Golden Flyers in the top of the fifth. Scoring for Nazareth was Knapp and Trank, while the hitting included singles from Knapp, Trank, and Spencer.

At a score of 10-1, Brockport tried to keep the game alive in the bottom of the fifth, but was stopped short as the Golden Eagles could only put up one run, which was not enough to stop the five-inning run-rule and Nazareth took the game at a score of 10-2.

Alexander was in the circle for the full five innings, allowing only one earned run while tallying a strikeout on 22 batters faced.

The Golden Flyers will be back in action on April 21st, weather permitting, for a double header at 3 and 5 p.m. at Keuka.
