Zack Scores Twice in 3-1 Regular Season Finale Win Over Manhattanville

ROCHESTER, NY – Sophomore Allie Zack scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner, as the 14th-ranked Nazareth women's hockey team defeated Manhattanville 3-1 in the final regular season home game. Prior to the game, Ivey Lyden, Sydney Swanson and Maggie Pfalzgraf were honored for Senior Day.

The Golden Flyers (18-6-1 overall, 10-2 UCHC) will be the No. 1 seed for the upcoming UCHC Championships and will host No. 4 Chatham in the semifinals at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Tim Hortons Iceplex. No. 2 Utica will host No. 3 Manhattanville in the other semifinal.

Nazareth scored a goal in each period.

Zack's first goal came on a shot from the point 4:06 into the contest. Sami Quackenbush and Alexis Kindred assisted on the goal.

Near the midway point of the second, Quackenbush smashed shot from the point on the power play and Zack was able to put in the rebound for her sixth of the season.

The Golden Flyers recorded another power play goal in the third period. A nice screen in front allowed Julia Holmes' rip from the point to find the net and give the hosts a 3-0 advantage.

Manhattanville was able to score at the 10:44 mark, but that was the last goal of the game.

Goaltender McKinley Hoff made 19 saves and is now just 10 off tying the career saves record at Nazareth with 1,281 held by Adrianna Brehm '22.
