ROCHESTER, NY – For the first time this season, the Nazareth men's hockey team was held off the board, falling 2-0 to Brockport on Saturday. On Friday, Nazareth defeated the Golden Eagles 3-2.

Nazareth has secured at least the five seed for six-team UCHC Tournament with two games to play. The Golden Flyers are 7-14-2 overall and 3-13-2 in the UCHC, while Brockport is 5-16-2 and 3-15-0, respectively.

Brockport scored in the first and second period and held the Golden Flyers at bay.

Nazareth had a 33-21 edge in shots. Daisuke Egusa led the Golden Flyers with five shots.

Dylan Wiemer suffered the defeat, making 19 saves.

Nazareth closes out the UCHC regular season next weekend, traveling to Geneseo on Friday and hosting the Knights on Saturday at 7 p.m.
