ROCHESTER, NY – The Nazareth women's tennis squad was in action for its first spring contest on Saturday, falling 7-0 at the University of Rochester.
Nazareth is now 8-5 overall, while Rochester sits at 1-0.
The Yellojackets took the lone point for doubles action.
Victoria Cioni and
Anna Spencer fell 6-2 at third doubles.
Catherine Zak was beaten at first singles 6-0, 6-2, while
Kenna Ellis fell 6-1, 6-3 in the second slot.
Cioni was defeated 6-1, 6-0 at fifth singles and Spencer lost 6-3, 6-1 at sixth singles.
Nazareth will be back in action on February 19, traveling to RIT at 4 pm.
