PITTSBURGH, PA – For the second time in as many nights the Nazareth men's hockey team dropped an overtime contest to Chatham, on Saturday falling 4-3. Junior
Logan Tobias scored two goals in the losing effort.
The Golden Flyers finish the weekend 6-11-2 (2-10-2 UCHC) and the Cougars improve to 7-11-1 (6-7-1 UCHC).

The 1-0 lead lasted until the last three minutes of the first period, but the Golden Flyers struck back quickly on the power play. Junior
Blake Frost dropped the puck back to senior
Anthony Quinlivan, who sped down the boards before cutting quick inside and dishing the puck to Tobias. Tobias was able to bury the puck for the 2-1 lead heading into the first intermission.
Naz's third goal came on the power play, with Tobias netting his team-leading 12
th goal of the season. Sophomore
Daisuke Egusa and Schaefer earned assists on the play. Tobias' 12 goals ranks second in the UCHC conference.
The Golden Flyers held the 3-2 lead until the last three minutes of regulation where the Cougars were able to capitalize on a power play opportunity. Another power play opportunity in overtime led to a 4-3-man advantage for Chatham and the Cougars were able to take the 4-3 win off a face-off win.
Sophomore goalie
Lincoln Crosby got his ninth start of the season and had 13 saves on the day.
The Golden Flyers next play at home against Manhattanville University Friday February 7 at 7 p.m.
