HILTON, N.Y. (nazathletics.com) - Nazareth Men's Basketball sophomore Merritt Holly earned his first Empire 8 Player of the Week honor of the season, the conference announced Monday afternoon. 

Holly averaged 16.7 points and 8.3 rebounds per game in three contests for the Golden Flyers last week. The sophomore center registered his third double-double of the year with a season-high 22 points and 10 rebounds in a two-point loss to York (Pa.) on Friday. Holly went 22 of 32 from the field for a .688 shooting percentage with two assists, one block and one steal in three games.
