PITTSBURGH, PA - The Nazareth men's hockey team fell 3-2 in overtime against Chatham Friday night in Pittsburgh.
The Golden Flyers are 6-10-2 overall and 2-9-2 in UCHC play, while the Cougars are 6-11-1 overall and 5-7-1 in league play.

Joey Schaefer had a one-timer to secure the first goal of the game on the power play. Schaefer had help from
Anthony Quinlivan and
Blake Frost.
There was a shot from the point and chaos in front of the net to bring the score 2-0 at 12:42 into the first period.

It was a quiet second period for Nazareth while the Cougars made the score 2-1 with only 3:16 left of the period.
The Cougars had the next goal 16:02 into the third period to tie up the game.
The Golden Flyers appeared to score the game-winning goal with :06 seconds left in the contest, but the goal was waved off after referee discussion.
Both teams went into a five-minute overtime and the Cougars got the last goal of the game securing an overtime win.
Dylan Wiemer had 24 saves in net for Nazareth.
The Golden Flyers will get another shot at the Cougars on Saturday, February 1 in Pittsburgh, PA.
