Morrisville, NY- The Nazareth women's ice hockey team ended their weekend with a 3-0 shutout win against Morrisville, snapping a three-game losing streak. Freshman

Nikki Sharp were the goal scorers for Nazareth on Saturday.
The Golden Flyers now stand 8-5 on the season, while their opponents drop 6-6 overall.
Nazareth took advantage of a power-play for its first goal of the game. The Golden Flyers had great puck movement from the points that resulted in chaos in front of Morrisville's net.
Julia Holmes gave a pass to Lyden, and Lyden gave the puck right back to Holmes. Holmes took a slap shot from the point and Terry was able to tip the puck into the back of the net.
A few minutes later, Lyden took the puck into the zone from the blue line and scored 7:23 into the first period, making this her second goal of the season.
Brooke Judkiewicz had the assist on the goal.
The score remained 2-0 throughout the second period.
In the third period Nazareth had some action again.
6:32 into the third period, Sharp got her third goal of the season from a pass behind the net and had a one-timer to secure Nazareth's 3-0 win.
McKinley Hoff had 15 saves in the contest for her fifth shutout of the year and 27
th of her career.
Nazareth returns to action at the Tim Horton's Iceplex on Tuesday, January 14 against Hamilton College at 3 pm.
