KEUKA, NY – The Nazareth field hockey team extended its win-streak to two games with a 4-0 win over Keuka on Saturday as four different scorers found the back of the net.
Nazareth is now 3-4 overall and 2-1 in Empire 8 play, while Keuka is 1-6 and 1-1, respectively.
Senior
Lydia Coombs scored her first goal of the season just over 10 minutes into the game to open the scoring.
Freshman
Michaela Cushman netted her team-leading sixth goal of the season shortly after off an assist from
Hannah Janes.
Nazareth's third goal came in the second quarter from Audra Mieczowski at the 21:46 mark on an assist from
Sam Helmer,
The score remained that way until the fourth quarter when junior
Hailey Dimao notched a goal from
Isabel Porterfield.
Morgan Russo earned the victory in net.
Nazareth had a 20-4 edge in shot for the game.
The Golden Flyers travel to Rochester on Wednesday for a 4 p.m. contest.
